Agricultural Plastics Recycling

AGSI is one of the only firms in the United States equipped to recycle plastics used in the agricultural industry on a large scale.

In most regions, almost all of this material is sent to the landfill or the burn barrel. We have worked with numerous associations, governmental officials, state agencies, university extension professors, and farmers to develop sustainable infrastructure for ag recycling programs.

Working with AGSI will cut disposal costs substantially. Exorbitant landfill tipping fees, taxes, and large fines for burning this waste are eliminated.

AGSI is happy to talk with you to determine logistics, collection, and best management procedures in order to create an agricultural plastics recycling program in your area.

The following ag plastics can be recycled by AGSI:

  • Bale wrap
  • 55-gallon jugs
  • Mini bulks
  • Silage bags
  • Bale twine
  • Field film
